Why Soy?

Oh, that is easy... 100% Soy Wax is non-toxic, and cleaner-burning, made without toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, meaning candles made with 100% Soy Wax are less likely to trigger allergies. As a vegetable-based wax, it does not produce harmful byproducts or black soot that can stain walls and curtains like the other leading waxes.

Longer Burn

Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, and because of this, soy candles will burn slower and longer than paraffin candles. Oils evaporate better from a larger surface area, and soy wax creates a scent that will be much stronger and more pleasant with the lower heat and larger melt pool.

GREAT SCENT THROW

The scent throw is what we call the way the candle emits the scent and spreads through your home, office, or other spaces. Cold throw is the scent emitted by the solid, unmelted wax. Hot throw is the scent emitted from the melted wax.

I use 100% Soy Wax, cotton wicks and carefully choose and test all fragrance oils to give you the best small batch - hand-poured candle. There are occasions when you may see wet spots on the jars or crystalizing on the candle surface. It's all good... it's soy!

Follow the Candle Care suggestions to get the most out of your candles.

About WCC

I'm a lover of rustic and vintage. A lover of farmhouses - old and new, family, the fur and feathered. I love candles. And I love to gift them to family and friends, and I know they love to receive them.

So, now here I am... handcrafting soy candles that retain their fragrance from the initial lighting to the final burn.

I deeply appreciate the charm and character of bygone eras and simpler ways of life. My favorite candles appear in mason jars with scents of memories in time, reminding us of the people and the places we hold dear.

I use 100% US-grown soy wax, lead-free, phthalate-free, and high-quality fragrance oils in my candles. I am constantly creating and testing new scents that I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about WCC!

Stay tuned…
